1. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the central executive body within the structure of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, formed, reorganized and abolished by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the proposal of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The Ministry of Justice is headed by a Minister appointed to the post on the proposal of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, submitted after consultations with the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 29, 2014 No. 269-V (effective from 01.01.2015).

4. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan is improving the system of reporting and evaluating activities with priority issues of protecting the constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen, the interests of society and the state, public trust, defining mechanisms for external evaluation by representative bodies and the public, with the introduction of a rating assessment of the level of corruption, and also establishes various forms of cooperation with institutions civil society, assists in the implementation of regulatory policy.
