1. Registration of collateral for equity securities, including through the unified register of collateral for movable property, is carried out in accordance with the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on registration of securities transactions. The registration of securities collateral carried out in accordance with the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan is subject to the rules of Article 8 of this Law.

1-1. The registration of collateral for property secured by mortgage bonds is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The registration of a pledge of property of significant historical (including archaeological), artistic or cultural value to the society is carried out in accordance with the legislation.

3. The pledge of property secured by mortgage bonds is subject to mandatory state registration in accordance with the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. The registration of a pledge of property that is collateral for mortgage bonds is carried out by the registering authority only once during the initial application. At the same time, the registration authority maintains the register of collateral.

This Law establishes the rules for registering the pledge of movable property in order to realize and protect the rights of individuals and legal entities who have legitimate rights to this property.
