Article 6 is amended by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04/06/2024 No. 71-VIII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

1. State control in the field of toy safety is carried out in the form of an unscheduled inspection and preventive control in accordance with the Business Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

State supervision in the field of toy safety is carried out by the state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population and the authorized body in the field of technical regulation in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04/06/2024 No. 71-VIII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

3. State control in the field of toy safety is carried out by monitoring:

1) compliance of the reliability of information for the consumer with the requirements of this Law, technical regulations;

2) compliance with the information contained in the document confirming the toy's compliance with toy safety requirements.

4. When carrying out a risk assessment, government toy safety authorities, within their competence, send selected toy samples to accredited laboratories (centers) for testing (research).

5. Authorized bodies in the field of toy safety issue orders on the suspension of production, sale and circulation on the toy market.

If toys are on sale, authorized toy safety authorities are required to announce through the media the presence of dangerous factors affecting human life and health or the environment.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 21, 2007 No. 306.

This Law regulates public relations regarding the definition, establishment, application, execution and control of toy safety requirements.
