1. The state policy in the field of traffic is aimed at providing favorable conditions for road users, preventing road accidents and reducing the severity of their consequences.

2. The main directions of the state policy in the field of traffic are:

1) ensuring the safety and accessibility of road traffic, comfort and service for its participants;

2) ensuring a stable transportation system;

3) reducing risks in road traffic;

4) Transition to safe vehicles;

5) encouraging and encouraging the use of public transport;

6) ensuring compliance with traffic rules;

7) improvement of the system of medical assistance to victims of road accidents;

8) environmental protection in the field of traffic;

9) other directions in the field of road traffic and ensuring its safety in accordance with the Constitution, this Law, laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 17, 2014 No. 194-V SAM.

This Law establishes the legal basis and general conditions for the functioning of road traffic and ensuring its safety in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
