Article 6. The purpose and objectives of state regulation and control of activities in the field of communications of the Communications Act
The purpose of state regulation of public relations in the field of communications is the stable and effective functioning of the communications industry.
The main objectives of state regulation and control of activities in the field of communications are:
1) implementation of the state policy in the field of communications for the effective functioning of the communications services market;
2) implementation of state regulation and control over activities in the field of communications;
3) development of proposals and implementation of the main directions and priorities for the development and improvement of communications in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
4) protection of the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities, as well as the national interests of the State.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2004 No. 567.
This Law establishes the legal basis for activities in the field of communications in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the powers of state bodies to regulate these activities, the rights and obligations of individuals and legal entities providing or using communications services.
