1. The tourist fee for foreigners is a payment charged to tourists for every day they stay in tourist accommodation, with the exception of hostels, guest houses, and rental housing in cities and districts.

2. Operators of the tourist fee for foreigners are recognized as persons providing tourist accommodation, with the exception of tourist accommodation provided for in paragraph 1 of this article.

Operators of the tourist fee for foreigners are required to collect and transfer the tourist fee for foreigners to the local budget.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 13, 2001 No. 211.

This Law defines the legal, economic, social, and organizational foundations of tourism activity as one of the sectors of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
