1. Civilian and service weapons during direct loading, firing, reloading, as well as maintenance must comply with the special safety requirements established for this type (type) of weapon.

2. Smoothbore firearms, barreleless weapons, gas pistols and revolvers with appropriate cartridges of traumatic, light and sound and gas action must comply with the requirements established by technical regulations in the field of healthcare.

3. Mechanical, aerosol dispensers and other devices equipped with tear, irritating substances, as well as other substances, must comply with the requirements established by technical regulations in the field of healthcare.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 1998 No. 339.

This Law regulates legal relations arising from the turnover of civilian, service, military handguns and cold steel weapons in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is aimed at protecting the life and health of citizens, property, ensuring public safety, protecting environmental facilities, resources, and developing international cooperation in combating crime and illegal proliferation of weapons.

The provisions of this Law also apply to the circulation of ammunition (cartridges).
