Sectoral authorized state bodies in the field of labeling and traceability of goods:

1) develop and coordinate with the coordinating body in the field of labeling and traceability of goods the functional requirements for the information system of labeling and traceability of goods;

2) within the limits of their competence, goods are marked and traceable in accordance with the procedures defined by them.;

3) submit proposals on inclusion in the list of goods subject to labeling and traceability to the authorized body in coordination with the coordinating body in the field of labeling and traceability of goods and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the results of the pilot project on labeling and traceability of certain groups of goods.;

4) carry out an analysis of the regulatory impact on goods subject to labeling and traceability;

5) maintain registers of participants in the turnover of goods subject to labeling and traceability;

6) monitor the turnover of goods subject to labeling and traceability, including in mutual trade with the member States of the Eurasian Economic Union, within their competence;

7) determine the maximum amount of the cost of a control (identification) mark, means of identification used in labeling goods, in coordination with the coordinating body in the field of labeling and traceability of goods and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.;

8) exercise other powers provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of trade activity, establishes the principles and organizational bases of its state regulation.
