Article 7-4. Safety requirements in the sphere of turnover of civilian and service weapons and ammunition of the Law on State Control over the Turnover of Certain Types of Weapons

Article 7-4. Safety requirements in the sphere of turnover of civilian and service weapons and ammunition of the Law on State Control over the Turnover of Certain Types of Weapons  

     1. During the manufacture, assembly and reworking of civilian and service weapons and ammunition, compliance with the entire range of safety measures defined in the design documentation is required, and the ability to monitor the performance of all technological operations on which safety depends.  

     If tests are required to ensure safety during or after the manufacture, assembly, or modification of civilian and service weapons and ammunition, they must be carried out in full compliance with all the requirements of the design documentation.  

     2. The sale (trade), acquisition, repair, collecting, exhibiting, storage, carrying, transportation, use, destruction of civilian and service weapons and ammunition in violation of the requirements established by the technical regulations in the sphere of turnover of civilian and service weapons and ammunition are prohibited.  

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 1998 No. 339.

      This Law regulates legal relations arising from the turnover of civilian, service, military handguns and cold steel weapons in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is aimed at protecting the life and health of citizens, property, ensuring public safety, protecting environmental facilities, resources, and developing international cooperation in combating crime and illegal proliferation of weapons.  

      The provisions of this Law also apply to the circulation of ammunition (cartridges).
