1. National Information Security Computer Incident Response Service:

1) carries out intersectoral coordination on issues related to monitoring information security, protection and safe functioning of e-government informatization facilities, the Kazakh segment of the Internet, as well as critical information and communication infrastructure facilities, responding to information security incidents with joint information security measures in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) assists owners, owners and users of informatization facilities in the safe use of information and communication technologies;

3) within one working day from the moment of detection of a violation of personal data security, notify the authorized body in the field of personal data protection of such violation.

2. Employees of the National Service for Responding to Computer Information Security Incidents are responsible for disclosing commercial or other legally protected secrets obtained by them as a result of their activities, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of informatization that arise in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan between government agencies, individuals and legal entities during the creation, development and operation of informatization facilities, as well as with state support for the development of the information and communication technology industry.
