Article 7. Consumer Rights Chapter 3. CONSUMER RIGHTS AND THEIR PROTECTION of the Consumer Rights Protection Act

     Consumers have the right to:

     1) free conclusion of contracts for the purchase of goods (performance of works and provision of services);

     2) education in the field of consumer protection and improvement of legal literacy of consumers in matters of protection of their rights and legitimate interests;

     3) obtaining information about the product (work, service), as well as about the seller (manufacturer, performer);

     4) purchase of safe goods (work, services);

     5) free choice of goods (works, services);

     6) proper quality of goods (works, services);

     7) exchange or return of goods of both proper and improper quality;

     8) compensation in full for losses (harm) caused to their life, health and (or) property as a result of defects in goods (work, services);

     9) receipt from the seller (manufacturer, contractor) of a document confirming the purchase of goods (performance of work, provision of services), or a contract concluded upon purchase of goods (performance of work, provision of services);

     10) making a claim to the initiator (organizer) of the games regarding the quality of the goods (work, services) transferred (performed, rendered) in the form of winnings;

     11) creation of public consumer associations;

     12) compensation for moral damage;

     13) protection of rights and legitimate interests;

     14) exercise of other rights provided for by this Law and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 4, 2010 No. 274-IV.

     This Law defines the legal, economic and social foundations of consumer protection, as well as measures to provide consumers with safe and high-quality goods (works, services).
