Article 7. Foreign policy powers of the President of the Republic of the Constitutional Law On the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The President of the Republic:
1) conducts negotiations and signs international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) grants the authority to negotiate and sign interstate treaties of the Republic;
3) (subparagraph is excluded by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05/06/1999 N 378)
4) signs the instruments of ratification;
5) decides on the suspension of international treaties concluded by the Republic that are not subject to ratification.;
6) submits to Parliament a proposal on the denunciation of international treaties concluded by the Republic.
2. The President of the Republic appoints and recalls the heads of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. The President of the Republic accepts credentials and letters of recall from diplomatic and other representatives of foreign States accredited to him.

This Constitutional Law, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the legal status of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
