The basis for the assessment is an assessment agreement concluded between the appraiser or a legal entity with which the appraiser has concluded an employment contract and the customer in accordance with this Law and the civil legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Under the evaluation agreement, the appraiser or the legal entity with whom the appraiser has entered into an employment contract undertakes to perform services to determine the market or other value of the appraised object, and the customer undertakes to pay for these services.

This Law regulates public relations related to the implementation of valuation activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also defines the legal basis for regulating valuation activities.
