1. The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Minister) directs the judicial authorities and is personally responsible for the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the judicial authorities.

2. The Minister:

1) appoints and dismisses the heads of departments, organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Justice, as well as their deputies in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.;

2) submits a statement of claim to the court for the recognition of normative legal acts subject to state registration with the judicial authorities, but which have not passed it, as invalid;

3) issues acts that are binding on judicial authorities, as well as, within the limits of its competence, acts that are binding on other state bodies, organizations, officials and citizens.;

4) represents the Ministry in government agencies and organizations in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

5) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 18, 2012 No. 547-IV (effective after ten calendar days after its first official publication);

6) exercises other powers assigned to him by this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
