1. Membership in trade unions does not entail any restriction of labor, socio-economic, political, or personal rights and freedoms of citizens guaranteed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Discrimination in employment, job promotion, and termination of an employment contract at the initiative of the employer due to the employee's membership in, membership in, or withdrawal from a trade union are prohibited.

3. It is prohibited to influence persons by threat or other unlawful actions to force them to refrain from joining a trade union, to leave one trade union and join another, or to dissolve the trade union on their own.

This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise by citizens of the constitutional right to freedom of association, the creation, operation, reorganization and liquidation of trade unions.
