1. The protection of the State Border as an integral part of the protection of the State Border consists in carrying out by authorized bodies a set of measures to prevent changes in the passage of the State Border, as well as to identify and suppress the prerequisites, signs and facts of violations of the State Border regime and the regime at checkpoints.

2. The protection of the State Border on land, in internal and territorial waters (including in the underwater environment) is carried out by the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. The protection of the State Border in the airspace is carried out by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 16, 2013 No. 70-V.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of protection of the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
