1. A legal entity intending to carry out collection activities is subject to registration within three months from the date of its state registration (re-registration) with the Government for Citizens State Corporation.

2. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 06/19/2024 No. 97-VIII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

3. In order to register, a legal entity intending to carry out collection activities submits to the authorized body the documents provided for in the regulatory legal act approved by the authorized body.

4. The authorized body verifies the completeness of the submitted documents within two working days from the date of receipt of the registration documents.

If a legal entity intending to carry out collection activities submits an incomplete set of documents, the authorized body shall, within the time limits specified in part one of this paragraph, give a reasoned refusal in writing to further consider the application.

5. The authorized body shall consider the application for registration within ten working days from the date of submission of the full package of documents.

6. Within the time period established by paragraph 5 of this article, the authorized body is obliged to enter a legal entity intending to carry out collection activities into the register of collection agencies and notify it of this decision and registration number, or give a reasoned response in writing about the reasons for the refusal of registration.

7. The register of collection agencies that have been registered is posted on the authorized body's Internet resource.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 6, 2017 No. 62-VI.

This Law regulates public relations related to the implementation of collection activities, establishes the specifics of the creation and operation of collection agencies, and also defines the specifics of state regulation of collection agencies and control over their activities.
