1. The identity documents contain the following information:

1) last name, first name, patronymic (if any);

2) date and place of birth;

3) gender, except for the birth certificate;

4) nationality – at the request of the owner in the identity documents specified in subitems 1), 2), 5) and 6) of paragraph 1 of Article 6 of this Law.;

5) citizenship, except for the birth certificate;

6) a photograph, except for the birth certificate;

7) the name of the authority that issued the document;

8) date of issue, document number, validity period, except for the birth certificate;

9) the signature of the owner of the documents, except for the birth certificate.

2. Identification documents specified in the sub-paragraphs 1), 2), 3), 4), 5), 6) , 11) and 12) of paragraph 1 of Article 6 of this Law, contain an individual identification number.

2-1. The identity documents specified in subitems 1) – 4), 7) and 8) of paragraph 1 of Article 6 of this Law contain fingerprints of the owner of the document in cases established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Fingerprint and Genomic Registration".

3. Identification documents are filled in by the authorized state body in Kazakh or, at the request of the owner, in Russian.

The passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the certificate of a stateless person are filled in in Kazakh or, at the request of the holder, in Russian, as well as in English.

The diplomatic passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the official passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the identity card of the seaman of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the travel document are filled out in Kazakh and English.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 29, 2013 No. 73-V.

This Law defines the legal basis of identity documents, establishes requirements for their registration, and regulates activities related to the production, issuance, replacement, delivery, seizure and destruction of identity documents.
