1. The user of the information has the right:

1) to receive and disseminate information in any way not prohibited by law;

2) make a request for information;

3) verify the accuracy and completeness of the information received;

4) revoke the request;

5) not substantiate the need to obtain information;

6) to appeal against the unlawful restriction of the right of access to information, actions (inaction) of officials;

7) to demand, in accordance with the procedure established by law, compensation for material damage and moral damage caused to him by violation of his right to access information.

2. The information user is obliged to comply with the requirements of this Law.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 16, 2015 No. 401-V SAM.

This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise of everyone's constitutional right to freely receive and disseminate information in any manner not prohibited by law.
