1. State control in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement is carried out for:

1) the reliability of the information provided to the State Energy Register;

2) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05/24/2018 No. 156-VI (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);

3) compliance with energy consumption standards and regulatory values of the power factor in electric networks by subjects of the State Energy Register;

4) conducting an energy audit;

4-1) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 17.11.2015 No. 407-V (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);

5) compliance with other requirements established by this Law and other regulatory legal acts in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement.

2. State control in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement is carried out in the form of inspection, preventive control with a visit to the subject (object) of control and preventive control without a visit to the subject (object) of control.

Inspections and preventive control with visits to the subject (object) of control are carried out in accordance with the Business Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Preventive control without visiting the subject (object) of control is carried out in accordance with this Law and the Business Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 13, 2012 No. 541-IV.

This Law regulates public relations and defines the legal, economic and organizational foundations of the activities of individuals and legal entities in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement.
