Article 79. Repeated voting during the election of deputies of the Senate of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. If more than two candidates for deputies of the Senate were included in the ballot and none of them was elected, the regional, city (cities of republican significance and the capital of the Republic) election commission, respectively, appoints a repeat vote for the two candidates who received the most votes. In case of withdrawal of one of the candidates, the next candidate who received the most votes will be included in the ballot.

     2. A repeat vote is held on the same day as the initial vote in compliance with the requirements of this Constitutional Law.

     3. Excluded by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05/06/1999 No. 375.
