1. Fixed tariffs stipulated in the purchase and sale agreements of the settlement and financial center with energy-producing organizations using renewable energy sources and energy waste disposal are applied until the termination of contracts concluded before the entry into force of this Law, but not more than fifteen years from the date of conclusion of the contracts.

2. Fixed tariffs stipulated by the purchase and sale agreements of the settlement and financial center with energy-producing organizations using renewable energy sources, energy waste disposal, and auction prices are indexed annually in accordance with the procedure determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the same time, fixed tariffs, depending on the type of renewable energy sources supported by the documents of the State Planning System in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the project financing structure and economic feasibility, are subject to annual indexation taking into account changes in the exchange rate of the national currency to foreign currencies in accordance with the procedure determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law defines the goals, forms and directions of support for the use of renewable energy sources, as well as regulates the mechanism for supporting energy waste disposal and the use of secondary energy resources.
