The competence of local executive bodies includes:

1) state control and supervision over compliance with the requirements established by this Law and technical regulations in the field of safety of chemical products;

2) monitoring consumer markets in order to identify chemical products that do not comply with the requirements of this Law and technical regulations in the field of chemical product safety, and to develop measures to prevent their sale;

3) verification of the risk assessment of chemical products for human health and life, the environment on the basis of information provided by the applicant (manufacturer, supplier, importer);

4) issuing orders to suspend one or more processes of the life cycle of chemical products that do not meet the safety requirements established by this Law and technical regulations.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 21, 2007 No. 302.

This Law establishes the legal basis for ensuring the safety of chemical products for the protection of human life and health, environmental protection and consumer interests in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
