1. Residents open accounts in foreign banks without restrictions, subject to the provisions of Article 16 of this Law.

2. Residents and non-residents in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan open bank accounts in authorized banks in national and (or) foreign currency without restrictions.

3. Non-residents have the right to freely transfer national and (or) foreign currency from their accounts outside the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan to their bank accounts with authorized banks, as well as from their bank accounts with authorized banks to their accounts outside the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations related to the implementation of currency transactions, defines the goals and objectives of currency regulation and currency control.
