Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) develops the main directions of industrial policy and organizes their implementation;

2) approves the list of national development institutions and other legal entities, fifty percent or more of the voting shares (stakes in the authorized capital) of which are directly or indirectly owned by the state, authorized to implement measures of state stimulation of industry;

3) in order to ensure the stability and sustainability of the development of the national economy, including its industrial and innovative component:

introduces measures of state stimulation of industry, determines the procedure for their application, and also cancels them.;

introduces elements of the industrial and innovation infrastructure, as well as defines the procedure for their creation and functioning.;

3-1) approves the rules for the development, coordination, approval, implementation and monitoring of programs for the development of domestic value and their standard form;

This Law establishes the fundamental principles of industrial policy and regulates public relations that arise during the formation and implementation of industrial policy.
