Local representative bodies:

1) approve and control the execution of local budgets in terms of expenses for the prevention of offenses;

2) hear reports from the heads and officials of the subjects of crime prevention on their work;

3) approve, on the recommendation of the akim, the composition of interdepartmental commissions on juvenile affairs and protection of their rights;

4) facilitate the implementation by citizens and organizations of the norms of this Law;

5) review and approve budget programs developed by the relevant akimats regarding the allocation of funds to encourage citizens involved in crime prevention;

6) monitor the activities of the commissions of the relevant akimats to encourage citizens involved in the prevention of offenses;

7) exercise other powers provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law determines legal, economic, social, and organizational bases for the activities of state bodies, the bodies of local self-government, organizations, and citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Prevention of infractions.

Article 8. Competence of the authorized body for combating corruption of the Law on the Prevention of Offenses

Authorized Anti-corruption Body:

1) increases public awareness of the risks of corruption;

2) interacts with civil society institutions and government agencies in order to combat corruption and reduce its level;

3) exercise other powers provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 29, 2010 No. 271-IV.

This Law defines the legal, economic, social and organizational bases of the activities of state bodies, local governments, organizations and citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the prevention of offenses.
