Article 8. Incentive measures The Law on the Participation of Citizens in Ensuring Public Order The Law on the Participation of Citizens in Ensuring Public Order
1. Measures to encourage citizens involved in ensuring public order are:
1) declaration of gratitude;
2) awarding with a diploma;
3) giving out a cash bonus;
4) other measures determined by local representative and executive bodies within their competence.
2. Issues of encouraging citizens involved in ensuring public order are considered by a commission established by a decision of the relevant local executive body upon the recommendation of the internal affairs body.
3. The commission includes representatives of local representative and executive bodies, as well as the internal affairs body that submitted the citizen for encouragement. The Commission also has the right to encourage citizens who are not registered with local executive bodies, in accordance with the procedure established by this Law, if they have contributed to the prevention, suppression or disclosure of criminal offenses.

This Law regulates public relations arising in connection with the voluntary participation of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in ensuring public order.
