Article 8. Metrological support of geodetic and cartographic activities of the Law on Geodesy, Cartography and Spatial Data  

     1. The authorized body, within its competence, carries out activities to ensure the uniformity and accuracy of geodetic measuring instruments in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on ensuring the uniformity of measurements.

     2. Metrological support for geodetic and cartographic activities includes a system of standards, standards, and techniques that ensure the unity of geodetic measurements and are mandatory for all subjects of geodetic and cartographic activities.
