1. Tariffs for postal services are set by mail operators independently on the basis of reasonable costs, unless otherwise provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The maximum price level for subsidized universal postal services is regulated by the authorized body in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body.

This Law establishes the legal basis of activities and regulates public relations in the field of mail in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the rights and obligations of subjects of postal activity, and the competence of state bodies in the field of mail.
