Article 8. The Prosecutor General and his Deputies of the Constitutional Law on the Prosecutor's Office
1. The Prosecutor General:
1) is appointed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the consent of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan for a period of five years;
2) is dismissed from office by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3) is accountable to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
4) during his term of office, he may not be detained, detained, house arrested, brought to court, or prosecuted without the consent of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, except in cases of arrest at the scene of a crime or the commission of grave and especially grave crimes.
2. The Prosecutor General has a first deputy and deputies.
3. The First Deputy and Deputies of the Prosecutor General are appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
