The competence of the military intelligence agencies of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, except for the provisions provided for in Article 8 of this Law, includes the provisions of Article 9 of this Law, with the exception of sub-paragraphs 2) – 4), 7), 9-1), 10), 14), 16), 20-1), 20-2) and 26).

This Law defines the status, competence and organization of activities of foreign intelligence entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and members of the intelligence community of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
