Article 9-1. Local Police Service of the Law On Internal Affairs Bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Footnote. Article 9-1 is excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30.06.2025 No. 203-VIII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

     1. The local police service consists of units of district police inspectors and their assistants, juvenile affairs, protection of women from violence, patrol police, environmental police and other units engaged in the field of crime prevention, public order protection, road safety.

     2. It is not allowed to involve employees of local police service units in the performance of tasks not provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     3. The district police inspector reports at least once a quarter to the population living in the administrative area on the territory of the relevant administrative-territorial unit.

     4. When a district police inspector identifies the causes or conditions conducive to the commission of offenses in a fixed administrative area, he submits, in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to individuals and legal entities a presentation on taking measures to eliminate such causes and conditions.

     This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of activity of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
