1. It is not allowed to enter (import) vehicles registered in other states into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the following cases::

1) finding a motor vehicle on the international wanted list or on the wanted list in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) the absence of a vehicle registration certificate in another state;

3) the absence of a contract for the provision of services for the transportation of a motor vehicle to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan containing information about the owner of the vehicle, identification features of the vehicle, information about the place of delivery and conditions of acceptance of such a vehicle (in the case of import of vehicles using services for the transportation of vehicles);

4) the absence in the system of electronic passports of vehicles (chassis passports of vehicles) and electronic passports of self–propelled vehicles and other types of equipment of information on the identification features of vehicles registered in the member States of the Eurasian Economic Union and their registration.

2. Entry (import) of motor vehicles registered with the competent authority of another State and their operation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan are carried out in accordance with the procedure and requirements for entry (import) into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of motor vehicles registered with the competent authority of another state and their operation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 4, 2003 No. 476.

This Law regulates the relations that arise between carriers, passengers, shippers, consignees, and other individuals and legal entities in the field of road transport.
