1. The State Technical Service carries out the following types of activities related to the state monopoly in the field of information security:

1) technical support of the centralized management system of telecommunications networks of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as keeping records of international junction points, the register of static addresses of data transmission networks;

2) organization and technical support of Internet traffic exchange points of telecom operators in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as connection of networks of telecom operators to the Internet traffic exchange point;

3) organization and technical support of the information security certification center.

2. The prices for the goods (works, services) specified in paragraph 1 of this Article, produced and (or) sold by the state technical service, are established by the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in coordination with the antimonopoly authority.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2004 No. 567.

This Law establishes the legal basis for activities in the field of communications in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the powers of state bodies to regulate these activities, the rights and obligations of individuals and legal entities providing or using communications services.
