1. The following types of postal activities operate in the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) postal activity;

2) other activities in the field of mail in accordance with this Law.

2. Postal activities include the following postal services:

1) universal postal services;

2) services for forwarding registered mail items;

3) Expedited and courier postal services;

4) postal money transfers;

5) subscription and retail distribution of periodicals;

6) services for the sale of postage stamps and philatelic products;

7) Hybrid shipment services;

8) special postal services in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Communications";

9) other services, the provision of which is inextricably linked to postal services.

3. Other activities in the field of mail include:

1) banking operations, financial services provided by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) services for transportation, processing, warehousing and storage of goods (cargoes);

3) performing legal actions on the terms of the contract of assignment and (or) commission in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

4) services for the delivery of pensions, allowances and other social benefits.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 9, 2016 No. 498-V SAM.

This Law establishes the legal basis of activities and regulates public relations in the field of mail in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the rights and obligations of subjects of postal activity, and the competence of state bodies in the field of mail.
