Article 9. National security Forces of the Law on National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The national security forces include:
1) special state bodies engaged in intelligence and counterintelligence activities, as well as a set of legal and organizational measures aimed at ensuring the safety of protected persons and facilities;
2) The Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3) internal affairs bodies, anti-corruption service, state fire service, economic investigation service and emergency rescue services;
2. Ensuring national security is mandatory for all government agencies and government officials in accordance with the powers established by law.
3. The national security forces and other state bodies shall cooperate with each other, implement joint measures to protect the national interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan and inform each other on issues within their competence.
The procedure for interaction between the national security forces and other state bodies is determined by this Law, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and joint regulatory legal acts of the relevant state bodies.

This Law regulates legal relations in the field of national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan and defines the content and principles of ensuring the security of man and citizen, society and the state, the system, goals and directions of ensuring national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
