1. Officials of state bodies and organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan are obliged to provide assistance and necessary assistance to state bodies engaged in countering terrorism.

2. Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are obliged to immediately inform the state bodies engaged in countering terrorism of information about an upcoming or committed act of terrorism.

3. Providing information to government agencies about upcoming or committed acts of terrorism is regarded as fulfilling a civic duty. Remuneration is established and paid by the authorized State body for coordinating activities in the field of combating terrorism for information that helped prevent or suppress an act of terrorism.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 13, 1999 No. 416.

This Law establishes the principles, purpose, legal and organizational basis for countering terrorism.
