Article 9. Regulations of the Maslikhat of the Law on Local Government and Self-Government in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     The procedure for holding sessions of the Maslikhat, meetings of its bodies, submitting and considering issues, forming and electing Maslikhat bodies, hearing reports on their activities, reports on the work done by the maslikhat to the public and the activities of its permanent commissions, reviewing requests from deputies, powers, organization of activities of deputy associations in the maslikhat, as well as the voting procedure, organization of The work of the staff and other procedural and organizational issues are determined by the rules of procedure of the Maslikhat, approved at its session.

     The standard regulations of maslikhats are approved by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2001 No. 148.

        This Law, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regulates public relations in the field of local government and self-government, defines the competence, organization, and order of activity of local representative and executive bodies, as well as the legal status of deputies of maslikhats.
