Article 9. The Charter of the trade union of the Law On Trade Unions
1. The trade union charter should provide for:
1) the name, location, subject and objectives of the trade union's activities;
2) membership, conditions and procedure for individuals and affiliated organizations to join a trade union (its associations), withdraw from it, or lose membership;
3) the organizational structure of the trade union;
4) the order of formation, competence and terms of office of trade union bodies;
5) the procedure and deadlines for reporting trade union bodies and monitoring their activities;
6) the rights and obligations of the trade union and its members, including the obligation to implement decisions taken by the bodies of the social partnership and the trade unions of which it is a member organization;
7) sources of formation of trade union property, trade union property management rights;
8) the procedure for payment of trade union membership fees and their distribution;
9) the procedure for informing its members about the receipt and expenditure of money;
10) the procedure for making amendments and additions to the trade union charter;
11) the procedure for making decisions on the reorganization and liquidation of the trade union, the fate of property in the event of the liquidation of the trade union.
2. The Charter may provide for restrictions on membership in other trade unions, as well as other provisions that do not contradict the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise by citizens of the constitutional right to freedom of association, the creation, operation, reorganization and liquidation of trade unions.
