Article 96. Repeated elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. If the elections of deputies of the Mazhilis were declared invalid or they were not elected when two candidates were running, the Central Election Commission decides to hold repeat elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of Parliament. Voting is conducted at the same polling stations and according to the same voter lists that were compiled for the initial elections.
2. Excluded by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05.11.2022 No. 156-VI (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).
3. Repeated elections shall be held no later than two months after the initial elections or within the time period determined by the Central Election Commission. Electoral measures, the implementation of which is provided for in the case of repeated elections, are conducted in accordance with the procedure established by this Constitutional Law. At the same time, the shortened terms of election events are determined by the Central Election Commission.
4. Repeated elections are reported in the media.
