Delegates of the Extraordinary III Congress of the Adilet Party Approve Amendments to the Party Charter in Line with the New Constitution and Set Membership Fees
The agenda of the Extraordinary III Congress of the Adilet Party included the approval of the Party’s Election Platform, the party list of candidates for deputies of the Constituent Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan, amendments and additions to the Party Charter, approval of membership fees, and the adoption of the Congress’s Final Resolution.
The delegates first considered matters relating to the Party’s organizational development, including amendments to the Charter and the amount of membership fees. Presenting the new version of the Charter, members of the Party’s Political Council, Bekzhan Alimkulov and Gulzira Atabayeva, noted that the document had been prepared in accordance with the provisions of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the amendments introduced into the current legislation.
According to them, the adoption of the new Constitution has paved the way for a profound modernization of the entire system of public administration. Beginning on 1 July, one of the Party’s key priorities will be the practical implementation of the new constitutional principles. In total, amendments have been introduced to 40 provisions of the Charter, grouped into three interconnected sections.
The first section is aimed at bringing the Charter into full compliance with the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the current legislation.
The second section focuses on improving the Party’s internal governance system by clearly defining the powers of its governing bodies and introducing modern and effective organizational mechanisms.
The third section is devoted to the editorial and structural improvement of the document.
As a result, the Charter will become more coherent, consistent, and practical in its application.
The updated version of the Charter places particular emphasis on improving the Party’s internal governance system.
The delegates also approved the amount of Party membership fees.
For employed citizens, the monthly membership fee is set at 0.1 MCI (Monthly Calculation Index), while for students it is 0.01 MCI. Pensioners, persons with disabilities, parents on childcare leave, and legal representatives of children with disabilities are fully exempt from paying membership fees.
After considering the organizational matters, the delegates proceeded to discuss the Party’s Election Platform, approve the Party’s list of candidates for deputies of the Constituent Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and adopt the Final Resolution of the Extraordinary III Congress of the Adilet Party.
