OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH INSTRUCTIONS FOR A PICKER

1.General safety requirements

1.1. Persons who are at least 18 years old and have completed their studies are allowed to work independently. introductory briefing; fire safety briefing; primary workplace briefing; electrical safety briefing at the workplace. The picker must undergo: repeated safety training at the workplace at least every three months.; unscheduled briefing: in case of changes in the technological process or labor protection regulations, replacement or modernization of production equipment, fixtures and tools, changes in working conditions and organization, violations of labor protection instructions, interruptions in work for more than 60 calendar days (for work subject to increased safety requirements - 30 calendar days);

1.2. The chopper is obliged to: comply with the internal labor regulations established at the enterprise; comply with the requirements of these instructions, instructions on fire safety measures, instructions on electrical safety; comply with the requirements for the operation of equipment;

1.3. The chopper must: be able to provide first (pre-medical) assistance to the victim in case of an accident; know the location of first aid facilities, primary fire extinguishing equipment, main and emergency exits, evacuation routes in case of an accident or fire; perform only the assigned work and not transfer it to others without the permission of the foreman or the head of the site; be attentive during work, do not be distracted or distract others, do not allow people unrelated to work into the workplace; keep the workplace clean and tidy.

1.4. The picker must know and follow the rules of personal hygiene. Eat, smoke, and rest only in specially designated rooms and places. If malfunctions of equipment, fixtures, tools and other defects or hazards are detected at the workplace, immediately inform the foreman or the head of the workshop, and you can start work only with their permission after all the defects have been eliminated.

1.5. If a fire is detected or in the event of a fire: turn off the equipment; inform the fire department and the administration; start extinguishing the fire with the primary fire extinguishing equipment available in the workshop, in accordance with the fire safety instructions. In case of a threat to life, leave the room.

1.6. In case of an accident, provide first (pre-medical) assistance to the victim, immediately inform the foreman or the head of the workshop about the incident, and take measures to preserve the accident situation (equipment condition) if this does not pose a danger to others.

1.7. The worker is responsible for failure to comply with the safety requirements set out in these instructions in accordance with applicable law.

1.8. The main dangerous and harmful production factors under certain circumstances may be: "vehicles,"increased dustiness of the air in the work area, "low air temperature in the work area, "insufficient illumination of the work area, "location of the workplace at a height relative to the ground surface.

1.9. Do not use an open flame (matches, lighters) and do not smoke indoors. Remember that grain dust is explosive.

1.10. It is forbidden to crawl under the conveyor, stand on its belt or rollers.

1.11. To avoid electric shock. -do not approach closer than 10 m to the broken wires lying on the ground. -immediately report to the master any exposed and disconnected grounding wires found..

1.12. When passing through the territory of the organization, be careful and take care when crossing the places where vehicles travel, repair and construction work, slippery sections of the road, places where ice floes (icicles) hang.

1.13. Do not cross railway tracks between uncoupled wagons, do not run across the track in front of a moving train. Do not get under the carriages when crossing the track.

1.Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. Inspect the work area. Make sure that it is sufficiently illuminated, that the floors and coverings are clean, have no potholes, passageways and passageways are not cluttered with foreign objects, hatches are closed. Take measures to eliminate them.

2.2. 2.3. Make sure that handrails and ladders for climbing onto platforms and platforms are in good working order.

2.5. Check the availability and serviceability of fire-fighting equipment.

2.6. Inspect and make sure that there are no foreign objects on the machines and conveyors, there are fences and other means of collective protection, grounding conductors.

2.7. If any deficiencies are found, take measures to eliminate them.

2.Safety requirements during operation

3.1. Do only the work that you have been assigned.

3.2. Be careful when doing any work, do not get distracted yourself and do not distract others.

3.3. Do not allow unauthorized persons into the loading and unloading area.

3.4. Do not operate on faulty equipment, faulty tools, or inventory.

3.5. When working together or as a team, coordinate your actions to move rice according to the instructions of the foreman.

3.6. When you receive a new job, request a briefing on the assigned work.

3.7. Do not pass or stand under a lifted load.

3.8. 3.9. When loading and unloading on motor transport, observe the following safety measures. -do not carry out work on vehicles with defective floors, sides and body locks. -do not sit on the sides of the body, on the cabin. -do not stand in the body or on the running board of the car and do not perform loading and unloading operations while they are moving. -use ladders when climbing into the truck.

3.Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. If a fire occurs, immediately call the fire department by calling 101, remove people and, if possible, flammable substances to a safe place, and begin extinguishing the fire with the available primary extinguishing media. Notify the management about the fire.

4.2. Provide first aid to the injured in case of injury and call an ambulance or send the victim to a medical center, notify the supervisor.

4.3. Do not leave vehicles in passageways.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. Put the workplace in order. 5.2. The places of work must be thoroughly cleaned and washed.

5.3. Remove and put away protective clothing and other protective equipment in the designated place.
