Job description
Head of the Research Laboratory
This instruction is based on the Order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020 No. 553. Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 31, 2020 No. 22003. On approval of the Qualification Directory of positions of managers, specialists and other employees in accordance with the requirements of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2015 No. 414-V SAM., and is applied as an appendix to the employment contract.
Job responsibilities:
Organizes scientific research aimed at mastering new equipment and technologies, improving the applied technological processes and equipment that ensure the production of competitive products that meet domestic and best foreign quality and environmental safety standards.;
He directs experimental work to identify and prevent the causes of defective products, improve their quality, ensure compliance with current production standards and specifications, environmental standards and regulations, as well as the use of new, more economical, efficient and safe basic and auxiliary materials.;
determines the effectiveness of developments, leads the work on finding the most advanced methods of research, testing, experimentation and reducing labor costs during research;
participates in the introduction of new technological processes and production modes and the analysis of quality indicators characterizing manufactured and newly mastered products.;
develops long-term and annual thematic work plans for the laboratory;
participates in the development of business plans of the organization.;
provides the preparation of technical reports on completed research projects, as well as the development of recommendations for their use, provides methodological assistance in their implementation and prepares reports on their implementation.;
organizes the study of advanced domestic and foreign experience in the field of improving the production technology of products similar to those produced in the organization.;
supervises the laboratory staff;
Ensures that employees comply with occupational safety and health, industrial sanitation, and fire safety procedures.
Must know:
legislative and other regulatory legal acts, methodological and normative-technical materials related to scientific and technical activities;
prospects of technical development of the organization and type of economic activity;
the production technology of the organization's products, laboratory equipment, and the procedure for its operation;
technical requirements for raw materials, materials and finished products, standards and specifications, environmental standards and regulations;
the procedure for registration of technical documentation;
the organization and methods of conducting research, determining the economic effectiveness of developments;
reporting procedure;
advanced domestic and foreign experience in the field of technology for the production of similar products;
fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor and management;
labor legislation, internal labor regulations, occupational safety and health, industrial sanitation, fire safety requirements.
Qualification requirements:
higher (or postgraduate) education in the relevant field of personnel training and work experience in the specialty as a specialist for at least 3 years.
