JOB DESCRIPTION
Sales Representative
This instruction is based on the Order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020 No. 553. Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 31, 2020 No. 22003. On approval of the Qualification Directory of positions of managers, specialists and other employees in accordance with the requirements of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2015 No. 414-V SAM., and is applied as an appendix to the employment contract.
Job responsibilities:
develops measures for the production of products (goods) and the provision of services that find the greatest demand and market;
promotes balanced development of production and services;
prepares proposals for the selection and change of directions for the development of the product range, production, economic and entrepreneurial activities;
participates in the development of marketing policy, strategy, pricing;
predicts the volume of sales and generates consumer demand for goods and services, identifies the most effective sales markets, as well as requirements for the quality characteristics of the product (method of production, service life, order of use, packaging) or the service provided;
examines the factors that influence the sale of goods and are important for the successful sale of services, examines demand, the reasons for its increase and decrease, and the differentiation of the purchasing power of the population.;
improves information support for ongoing market research;
develops demand generation and sales promotion programs, recommendations on market selection in accordance with available resources;
prepares proposals and develops recommendations for improving the quality and consumer properties of goods and services;
determines the prospects for the development of manufactured products and sales markets, taking into account the socio-demographic characteristics of various population groups, the state and dynamics of their incomes, traditions and tastes, as well as the necessary costs of all types of resources, including raw materials, energy, personnel.;
conducts marketing research on the competitiveness of goods (services) in the market;
analyzes and calculates sales volumes, profits from sales, the speed of sale of goods (services), and factors affecting sales;
monitors the sale of goods, compares planned data with the results obtained in terms of volume, revenue, time of sale (provision of services) and the territory of their distribution, identifies deviations and changes in market conditions;
ensures an increase in the efficiency of business activities, profits and incomes, and an increase in the competitiveness of goods and services;
participates in the training, retraining and advanced training of management personnel, taking into account the requirements of a market economy.
carries out work on the sale of products in accordance with orders and concluded contracts, ensures the supply of products to consumers (customers) on time and in full;
participates in the preparation of projects of long-term and annual plans and product sales, making forecasts.;
performs work on concluding contracts for the supply of products and agreeing on terms of supply;
draws up applications, summary statements, creates conditions for the systematic sale of goods and the expansion of services provided, meeting the demand of buyers (customers) for goods and services;
orders and nomenclature delivery plans;
develops standards for product stocks and monitors compliance of their level in terms of volume and nomenclature with established standards;
accepts and keeps records of orders, orders and specifications submitted by consumers (customers), verifies the compliance of volumes and nomenclature of ordered products with production plans, as well as contracts, current standards, specifications and other regulatory documents;
participates in the development and implementation of organization standards for the organization of storage, sale and transportation of finished products, instructions on discounts, terms and conditions of payment, as well as measures to comply with the economy regime, reduce excess balances of finished products.;
plans expenses for the sale of certain types of products, sales areas and consumers, analyzes the costs of circulation, compares the actual costs for each sales channel and type of expenses with the indicators of the plan and cost estimates in order to identify unjustified expenses, eliminate losses incurred in the process of distribution, participates in the development and implementation of measures to improve the work to increase volumes sales;
monitors the fulfillment of orders by the organization's divisions, compliance with established delivery dates, nomenclature, completeness and quality of products sold in accordance with contractual obligations.;
participates in the study of the consumer market, the formation and expansion of commercial relations with consumers, in analyzing consumer demand, the degree of satisfaction of consumer requirements and requests for the products offered, the level of competitiveness of products in the market, and the purchasing power of the population.;
makes suggestions on adjusting prices for the products offered, sales volumes, on the choice of distribution channels, methods and time to enter the market.;
studies the market of similar goods and services (analysis of demand and consumption, their motivations and fluctuations, competitors' activities) and trends in its development;
takes measures to ensure timely receipt of funds for products sold;
determines the need for various vehicles, mechanized loading devices and labor for timely shipment of finished products;
draws up transport, settlement and payment documents;
prepares the necessary certificates, calculations, justifications and other materials for the execution of contracts with customers, the preparation of responses to incoming consumer claims, as well as claims against suppliers in case of violation of the terms of concluded contracts.;
monitors compliance with the order of storage and preparation of finished products for shipment to consumers (customers);
participates in conducting marketing research to study the demand for the organization's products and prospects for the development of sales markets;
maintains operational records of product shipments, fulfillment of contracts and orders, and the remaining unsold products, and prepares reports on the implementation of the sales plan.;
Regularly, according to the itinerary, visits each client in accordance with the approved scheme in order to place an order for the next delivery and track the remaining goods.;
Monitors the layout of the most complete product range in accordance with merchandising standards, the placement and updating of promotional materials and equipment.
Monitors the status of accounts receivable for its clients and promptly informs management about possible payment delays, as well as other factors affecting the client's solvency.;
Promptly responds to customer's claims regarding the quantity and quality of the delivered goods in accordance with the delivery agreement;
Identifies the causes of violations of the terms of contracts, takes measures to eliminate them and prevent these causes.;
During the reporting period, visits all retail outlets (active and potential) in the area of responsibility;
Conducts a constant search for new customers and concludes supply contracts with them;
Advises clients on consumer characteristics of products that help meet the needs of end customers;
Transmits to the direct management information about all changes in the state of the market, identified in the course of work, and collects marketing information if necessary.;
Oversees promotions, promotions, and tastings.
Fulfills the plans set by his employer and his immediate supervisor.
Must know:
legislative and other regulatory legal acts, methodological and normative-technical materials on the organization of the sale and supply of finished products (works, services);
the procedure for developing long-term and annual production and sales plans;
prospects for the development of sales markets;
methods for calculating standards of stocks of finished products;
wholesale and retail prices for products manufactured by the organization;
the procedure for determining the total volume of supplies;
requirements for transportation and loading facilities;
documentation procedure;
terms of delivery, storage and transportation of products;
organization of warehousing and sale of products (works, services);
standards and technical specifications for the products being produced;
Qualification requirements:
higher (or postgraduate) education in the relevant field, additional training (courses, classes) in the field, additional marketing training, work experience and work experience in the specialty for at least 2 years.
It is prohibited to combine other activities while doing your main job, including working as a sales representative for other employers. In case of a violation of this clause of the Contract, the Employer has the right not to charge a percentage of the salary and to hold accountable in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
