Trademark Manager (Brand Manager)

   This instruction is based on the Order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020 No. 553. Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 31, 2020 No. 22003. On approval of the Qualification Directory of positions of managers, specialists and other employees in accordance with the requirements of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2015 No. 414-V SAM., and is applied as an appendix to the employment contract.

        Job responsibilities.

      manages the promotion and sale of a group of products of a certain trademark (product);

      provides preparation of marketing programs;

      examines the features of promoted products, analyzes consumer requirements for products based on the results of marketing research;

      performs market analysis, identifies target consumer market segments for product offerings;

      develops a strategy for product promotion to the market, taking into account the proposals of marketing and advertising departments for advertising campaigns, exhibitions, presentations, and other "PR" campaigns;

      participates in the organization of product presentations to potential buyers and consumers, thematic seminars;

      provides professional advice on the consumer properties and qualities of the product;

      participates in the development of price components of the marketing plan;

      defines the terms of sale of goods (systems of discounts and benefits for individual groups of buyers);

      predicts sales volumes;

      draws up a budget for goods, calculates the expected profit and profitability from the moment the product is introduced to the market, determines the possibility of losses for the company at the first stages of product promotion and develops proposals to minimize them.;

      develops product sales schemes (from the creation of new sales units to the reconstruction of existing sales channels);

      organizes contractual work in the department dealing with the product, keeps records of payment transactions, analyzes operational data on sales results;

      monitors the position of the product on the market (sales progress, demand for it), determines and analyzes the attitude of consumers to the product;

      identifies unsatisfactory product parameters, customer requirements for the product (not taken into account in the product) and reports them to the design, technological and production departments to adjust the product, giving it new consumer properties.;

      tracks the pricing policy and demand for competitors' brands, determines product positions relative to similar or similar competitors' products;

      coordinates and supervises the work of subordinate employees;

      prepares reports to the company's management on the work done;

      performs other related duties related to the promotion and sale of goods;

     adheres to the rules and regulations on safety and labor protection, fire safety.

Must know:

      legislative and other regulatory legal acts regulating the economic activities of the Republic's business entities;

      methodological, regulatory and other guidance materials in the field of advertising, marketing, organization of sales and supply of finished products, public relations;

     methods and procedures for developing long-term and short-term plans for the development of the market, its capacity, production, and implementation of export activities in various markets;

      types of distribution channels, copyright and intellectual property, marketing of entrepreneurial and commercial activities;

     fundamentals of market economy, entrepreneurship and business conduct;

     the history of the trademark organization;

     features of technological processing and manufacturing of the product of this trademark;

     the technology of advertising and marketing;

      market conditions, assortment, classification, characteristics and purpose of goods;

     pricing methods, pricing strategy and tactics;

     theory of management, macro- and microeconomics, business administration;

     the basics of creating advertising, forms and methods of conducting advertising campaigns;

      fundamentals and principles of "PR" technologies, psychology and principles of sales, brand features, production technology;

      the procedure for developing business plans and commercial terms of agreements, contracts, ethics of business communication;

     fundamentals of sociology and psychology, methods of organization management;

      methods of information processing using modern technical means of communication and communication;

      fundamentals of economics and planning;

     labor legislation, internal labor regulations, occupational safety and health, industrial sanitation, fire safety requirements.

Qualification requirements:

     higher (or postgraduate) education in the relevant field of personnel training, special training in the field of management / marketing and work experience in the field of sales management for at least 3 years.
