Declaration on the Foundations of Relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Slovak Republic

The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Slovak Republic, hereinafter referred to as the "two Countries", guided by the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, the Helsinki Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, wishing to strengthen friendly relations and develop cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, declare the following: - both Countries develop and strengthen their relations based on the principles of equality, respect for each other's sovereignty and peaceful settlement of disputes - Both countries promote the establishment of a political dialogue between them, intergovernmental and inter-parliamentary ties, and consultations on bilateral and international issues. Both countries are convinced that ensuring international security is inextricably linked to strengthening and deepening democratic transformations taking place in the world. - Both countries confirm that they will strive to strengthen an atmosphere of trust and security, cooperation and mutual understanding, conflict prevention, and promote respect for human and minority rights in Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world. - Both countries emphasize the importance of cooperation and coordination of efforts in the fight against international terrorism, organized crime, illicit drug trafficking, illegal migration, corruption, and economic offenses, both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international organizations. Both countries express their intention to provide mutual support to actions taken in the interests of the effective functioning of the mechanisms. market economy - Both countries are convinced that the expansion of mutually beneficial economic cooperation will play an important role for their subsequent economic development, especially in attracting investments and modern technologies, trade, transport and communications, agriculture and industry. Both countries believe that one of the global tasks of the world community is active cooperation in the interests of environmental protection. and taking measures aimed at maintaining ecological balance, as well as strengthening international control in this area. - Both countries recognize the importance of cooperation in the fields of culture, education, science, tourism, healthcare and sports and will make efforts to develop bilateral relations in these areas. Both countries will make efforts to further develop the legal framework of bilateral relations and implement the agreements reached.
