On the launch of a space object from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Resolution No. 198 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 30, 2026

In accordance with subparagraph 5) of Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Space Activities” and paragraph 7 of the Rules for Coordinating and Making Decisions on the Launch of Space Objects from the Territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as beyond its borders, if such launches are carried out by Kazakhstani participants in space activities, approved by Resolution No. 838 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 26, 2012, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

     1. To approve the launch of the size and mass mock-up of the payload by the Soyuz‑5 launch vehicle from the Baiterek space rocket complex at the Baikonur Cosmodrome on March 27, 2026 (backup launch dates: every day from March 28 to April 30, 2026).

     2. The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall notify the applicant of the decision made by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. This resolution shall enter into force on the date of its signing.
