On further improvement of the system of state regulation of the financial market of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     In accordance with subparagraph 5) of Article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I HEREBY DECREE:

     1. To abolish the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty and the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations (hereinafter referred to as the agencies) with the transfer of their functions and powers to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. To determine the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the legal successor for the obligations of the abolished agencies.

     3. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall take measures to implement this Decree.

     4. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     5. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
