In order to preserve and promote the historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, I HEREBY DECREE:

1. To the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the legislation:

1) to create the republican state institution "National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (hereinafter - the institution);

2) take other measures resulting from this Decree.

2. To establish that the director of the institution is appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. Abrogated by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/31/2023 No. 290.

4. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
