On the signing of a letter of agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the allocation of a grant for the preparation of the project "Regulation of the Syrdarya Riverbed and conservation of the northern part of the Aral Sea (Phase 2)"

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 9, 2006 No. 195

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 30, 2005 "On International Treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan", I HEREBY DECREE:

     1. To approve the attached draft letter of agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the allocation of a grant for the preparation of the project "Regulation of the Syrdarya Riverbed and conservation of the northern part of the Aral Sea (Phase 2)".

     2. To authorize the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akhmetzhan Smagulovich Yessimov, to sign on behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan a letter of agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the allocation of a grant for the preparation of the project "Regulation of the Syrdarya Riverbed and conservation of the northern part of the Aral Sea (Phase 2)".

     3. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
